Award-winning examples of many inspiring styles are displayed in each of the locations - luxurious cascades of silk and velvet are dressed in the original New Hope Interiors store and a more casual collection is focused in the Lahaska designer house styled Home Store.  However, each window treatment will be specifically designed for individual requests.

As a child, a favorite pastime of owner Melinda, was to gather scraps of fabric as they fell to the floor while her mother sewed intricate outfits for her to wear.  The passion never faded and today Melinda still collects those "swatches" and stocks her store's shelves to overflowing with fabric and trim options for you to explore.

A wall of three-story palladium windows is not a challenge, but a pleasure.  With experience in residential to restaurant, spa and yacht design, her private workroom construct with European detailing and install with an understanding of old world design.

Her designs have been featured in many national as well as local magazines, but foremost she enjoys the process.  The process of meeting of meeting each client, getting acquainted with their personalities by discussing at length their preferences and finally designing the appropriate style.  The ultimate reward being a heartfelt thanks.
